We created a website to promote the release of The Breadwinner, an animated film produced by Aircraft Pictures, Cartoon Saloon, and Angelina Jolie. The story tells the tale of a strong Afghan girl named Parvana who seeks to provide for her family and reunite with her father in a society run by the Taliban. Featuring animated elements from the movie, the website uses parallax elements, sound, motion graphics and illustrations to bring the story to life. Fullscreen illustrations from the film with animated elements were incorporated as the backdrop of the design and transitions inspired from the film were aesthetically blended between pages. It also features the official EPK and immersive educational experience to engage students in learning the lessons from this 2018 Golden Globe-nominated film.
